Flowers for Dreams
In Fall 2024, I had the chance to work as a Marketing Consultant Intern with Flowers for Dreams, a Chicago-based flower company known for its local sourcing, minimalist design, and strong commitment to social impact—with 25% of profits donated to local charities.
During my time there, I focused on supporting marketing strategy and execution across several key areas. I helped optimize campaign messaging, contributed to content planning for seasonal promotions, and worked on audience segmentation to improve how we engaged different customer groups across email and social channels.
What made the experience stand out was the way the brand balances creative storytelling with data-backed decisions. I got hands-on experience using tools like Google Analytics and Klaviyo to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Beyond building technical marketing skills, this role also reinforced the importance of mission-driven branding. Every campaign wasn’t just about selling flowers—it was about building a community and driving real social impact.
