Chicago Faucets

IME consulting Paper

This report was developed as part of a strategic consulting project for Chicago Faucets through DePaul’s IME Honors Program. Our team conducted a value curve analysis to evaluate how the brand compares to high-end and low-end competitors across key factors like style, functionality, and product range. Using insights from industry research and interior designer preferences, we proposed a focused strategy to reposition Chicago Faucets by enhancing design appeal, simplifying offerings, and introducing innovative features like water purification—all aimed at capturing more value in commercial and design-driven markets.

Using research from over 50 interior designers, we developed consumer personas, ran perceptual mapping, and analyzed key value drivers like support, aesthetics, and innovation. The final recommendations focused on elevating brand relevance by enhancing visual storytelling, improving search discoverability, and building trust through design-focused outreach
